Meet Michelle Massengale

Dr. Michelle Massengale

Hello, I am the seventh grade ELA teacher. This will be my third year at Oneida. Before joining the OMS family, I taught for 25 years in the Scott County School System. I graduated from Maryville College in 1997 with a Child Development degree with teacher licensure and was employed with the county school system in August of that year. During my teaching career, I received a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands. Then, I went to Lincoln Memorial and obtained my Ed.S. in Leadership and Supervision. In December of 2014, I received my doctorate from the University of the Cumberlands in Educational Leadership. I am enjoying my time at OMS and look forward to many more years with them.

I am married to J.C. Massengale, and we have three wonderful children: Mariah Massengale, Zack, and Zander Morrow. We love the outdoors, watching basketball and football. I attend Buffalo Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville (FPC of Huntsville). At FPC of Huntsville, I am also the custodian and administrative assistant. I love being active with my church families. My hobbies include reading, watching movies, and hiking.
