Marcus Z. Burchfield

About Mr. Burchfield

Marcus Burchfield is a 2011 graduate of Oneida High School, a 2016 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, and a 2024 graduate of Tennessee Tech University. Mr. Burchfield is married and has four children. He is a published author of short stories and a playwright. Mr. Burchfield was an employee of LMU's Arts in the Gap program for three years where he served as Assistant to the Director. He worked on the writing team for the Appalachian Shakespeare Project's reimagining of King Lear. He is passionate in his goal of leading another generation of Oneida High School students to fall in love with the Arts.
